  1. Install the game on your Steam Deck OLED. It is around 1 GB, so it downloads quickly and takes little space.
  2. Set the compatibility tool to Proton 10.04. On a Steam Deck OLED running SteamOS 3.9 this combination works, and no launch options are needed.
  3. Launch the game once to confirm it starts. It should boot straight in with the default settings.
  4. Accept that there is no native controller support. The game is keyboard and mouse only, with no official controller layout, so it will not just work with the gamepad out of the box.
  5. Open the Steam controller settings and manually map the trackpads and buttons. Use one trackpad as a mouse and bind the keyboard actions you need to the buttons.
  6. Cap or target 60 FPS. The game runs fine at 60 FPS on the Deck.
  7. Set your expectations accordingly. It is playable, but the small taskbar-style window plus keyboard and mouse interaction make the Deck experience just okay rather than great. (Community-tested by one creator.)
